What are the odds that a Macaw was at the Polo Match?
Alex von Bidder is working with me on our next WIGGENS book, which takes place at the San Diego Zoo. In the story, there is a Macaw who flies around with WIGGENS and makes comments from his bird brain perspective, which is actually Alex’s humorous brain! What are the odds that when Alex came to be the celebrity judge at a polo event here in Vero Beach, that a Macaw would be right there to greet him?

As co-owner of the elegant Four Seasons Restaurant in New York City, Alex von Bidder has seen his share of manners on display — both good and bad. He drew on that experience to write “Wiggens Learns His Manners at the Four Seasons,” a children’s book on being charming and well-mannered.

Leslie McGuirk is an internationally known writer and illustrator of bestselling children’s books.
Originally published in Japan, Leslie’s illustrations were made into over 800 products for the high-end department store Takashimaya.
